TOUT LE MONDE EN PARLE 1 529 000 1 529 000 1 529 1 529 000 VIEWERS !
(Pres.: Guy A. Lepage and Dany Turcotte) ___________________ _FORUM
Interview and meeting with the humorist Laurent Paquin and the senator Jean Lapointe.

During this interview, the viewers learned a lot about her:
Nana decided to undertake her farewell tour because she believes that the time has come to leave the place for the younger generations.
She always refused to remove her glasses to prove that we can be ourselves and if we have something to say, people will listen to us.
The court jester (Dany Turcotte) got his first tooth on "Coucouroucoucou paloma" and the host (Guy A. Lepage) got married with "Le temps qu’il nous reste" (The time that remains to us) only to separate three months later.
Nana’s marriage lasted 17 years, but she is happy to have two wonderful children.
Success is something very fragile. All that she does, she does it with Love.
Nana did not sing at the Athen's Olympic Ceremonies in 2004 because she did not fit the concept.
She knew the war and during the bombardments, she sang to forget her fear.
At the time of her first visit to Montreal, she included "Un Canadien errant" in her program, despite the Record company's efforts to dissuade her. Under the invitation of Pierre Elliott Trudeau (former Canadian Prime Minister), she sang it in the House of Commons.
She recorded "Je reviens chez nous", Jean-Pierre Ferland’s song, in seven languages.
Nana affirms to not having flirted often in her life because she didn’t find herself beautiful. Then, music was the only thing that made her happy.
Her mandate as deputy at the European Parliament had been a difficult experience. However, she is proud for having defended languages and for her work in the field of Culture.
Musical excerpts from "Quand tu chantes", "L’amour en héritage", "C’est bon la vie", "Le tournesol", "Soleil soleil", "Le temps qu’il nous reste" and "Ah, patrida!".
Video excerpt from "Un Canadien errant" (1970)

Some TV viewers hardly explain themselves the choice of the humorist Laurent Paquin to share the stage with her. But the opportunity arises and Nana shows that she’s quick and that she can laugh even in front of vulgarity. Like many others, she remains surprised by his talent of improviser.
Jean Lapointe is a fellow guest. He speaks about his battle and his wife’s battle with alcoholism. As senator his aim is fighting video gambling that has devastating effects on society. Nana listens religiously. She doesn’t hide her emotion and she is grateful to him for his engagement. Both have met more than once along their long careers. But tonight the esteem that she holds him in is bigger than ever. A nice encounter between two great artists!
